Jude Osborne

I am the elected Presiding Member and I joined the School Board in September 2022.

I joined the board to give something back to our community – and having been on the board a couple of years, I really recommend getting involved.

I also love bike riding, building and making things, and generally muck about outdoors. It's amazing what you find when you go exploring.

Ko Ngai Tahu, Ngāti Kahungunu me Ngāti Koata ngā iwi.  Nō Whakatū Chau. Ko Stacey Davis tōku ingoa,

I am the current staff representative on the Board for Broadgreen Intermediate. I am currently the team leader in Te Kohao o Te Ngira and have been part of the Broadgreen whānau since 2013 with a two year gap as a Beginning Teacher at Richmond School where I was also on the Board.

My husband, Jacob and I have three tamariki, Coby (16), Nathan (12), and Te Marie (7).  We are a busy whānau with loads of sports going on, especially with our eldest, who has just made the Nelson College 1st XV.  We don’t often get a day off but love giving back to the community.

I am really excited about being on the board and learning more about how the kura works behind the scenes while also representing our kaimahi of Broadgreen Intermediate

Dan Shields

I am an Elected parent representative.

I joined the board of trustees in 2024.

I have been in the police for 19 years and I’m currently the Detective Sergeant in charge of the Nelson Child protection team.

I have three children, my eldest has just started his first year at Broadgreen.

I wanted to help contribute towards the running of the school, creating a positive environment and give back to the local community. I love music and sports. My children are now all involved in the sporting world and I enjoy watching them develop and grow in this area. I also enjoy spending time with my family, particularly heading down the Marlborough sounds fishing and exploring.
